Inauguration

The International Research Laboratory for Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Astrophysics (IRL NPA) was inaugurated in a ceremony which took place at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, on July 18th, 2023. The IRL-NPA was established for five years.

On 18 July, Michigan State University (MSU) and the French research organization Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) established the International Research Laboratory on Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics (IRL NPA) at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) at MSU.
